The Corporate Finance team of KBC Securities Hungarian Branch Office is part of the regional (Central and Eastern European) Corporate Finance Network of KBC Securities NV which operates offices in the following countries.
Besides Central and Eastern European Countries KBC Securities operates Corporate Finance offices in Belgium and in the UK. Due to the international network the offices mutually assist each other in cross-border transactions if regional or special industrial know-how is needed.
The corporate finance team of KBC Securities Hungarian Branch Office has 15 years experience on the Hungarian market and strong reputation among listed and private companies.

György Herczku, Head of Corporate Finance
György heads the Corporate Finance department within the KBC Securities Hungary. He joined KBC Securities in 2002 since then he was involved in several M&A transactions mainly in the telecommunication, media, technology, financial services, food and construction industry. Previously György had worked for MAVA Investment Management, a Hungarian leading private equity company and managed the funds’ investments mainly in the field of telecommunication, IT, food and beverages and healthcare. During at his time at MAVA, he was seconded to the private equity arm of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in London and was involved in several investments in the CEE region. He started his carrier at Arthur Andersen.

Ádám Hegyi, Associate Director
Ádám is member of the KBC Securities Corporate Finance team since 2002. His current position is Associate Director. He was primarily involved in transactions in the fields of financial services, energy industry and automotive industry. Besides, he took part in various state transactions and gained experience in stock exchange and public transactions. Prior joining KBC Securities Ádám, as securities analyst, worked for Inter-Európa Bank, member of the San Paolo IMI Group, and was member of San Paolo IMI’s central economic and market research group. Previously Adam was the economic and fixed income research analyst of Hypo-Securities Hungaria.

Miklós Bónis, Senior Associate
Miklós with 10 years of experience in capital market is primarily responsible for M&A transactions focusing on the Romanian market within KBC Securities Hungary. Prior joining KBC Securities, Miklós had worked for Inter-Európa Bank (member of the Italian San Paolo IMI Group) as Head of Research and Investment Product Development. As equity analyst, Miklós had covered listed companies from the Hungarian oil & gas, telecom, utilities (electricity suppliers), machinery, and food industries and had been involved in corporate finance and business valuation projects as well.

Jenő Nieder, Associate
Jenő has joined KBC Securities Corporate Finance in April 2006. Since then he has gathered solid experience in financial modelling and project execution in the M&A market. During that time Jenő participated in projects mainly in the field of financial services, agriculture and energy sector. His main responsibility is to contribute to and manage company valuation and business planning projects. Before joining KBC Securities Corporate Finance Jenő has worked for KPMG Business Advisory and participated in the preparation of macro analyses and feasibility studies mainly in the field of telecommunication and media.
