Risk Advisory

KBC Securities is looking for a Risk Advisor.
The Risk Advisor Role is key in managing the financial and non-financial risks business has to face.

As a Risk Advisor you will be:

  • Supporting and challenging accountable management in its task to guarantee that the first line risks are managed well and in a consistent way through end-to-end processes
  • Involved in identification, analysis (including root causes) and reporting of financial and non-financial risks
  • Creating suggestions for improvement of processes and lowering the risks
  • Supporting the business and coordinating the implementation of Group wide risk projects and policies, risk self-assessments, risk advices, risk scans, control framework
  • Registering and analysing operational losses
  • Registering controls, risks and assessments in the Group wide control tool
  • Involved in documentation and reporting activities both regular and ad-hoc
  • Functional reporting to Non-Financial Risk Advisor

Ideal profile:

  • University/college degree or equivalent by experience
  • Relevant experience of at least 2 years in functions related to managing risks, quality control, audit, compliance, controls and analysis – preferably in financial services
  • Interest in management of financial and non-financial risks
  • Team player, proactive, clear and convincing communication skills
  • Fluent English
  • Expertise in analysing processes
